Airfield Restrictions and Runway Closures – February & March 2026
January 19 - March 25

At the Special Meeting held on 2 December 2025, Club Members voted in favour of permitting a major film production to take place at the airfield during February and March 2026.
Please carefully review the following restrictions and closure periods.
General Restrictions
- Photography and filming are strictly prohibited.
- Sharing information about the production is not allowed. This includes details about the set, actors, or the film itself.
- Any violation will be treated as a breach of contract. Offenders will be personally liable under law or equity, and club membership will be cancelled immediately.
- Members, students, and visitors must remain on designated pathways and are not permitted to enter the film set.
Runway Closure Schedule
19 January – 24 February 2026
- Runway 18/36 closed for landing and take-off.
- Taxiing permitted towards Runway 10/28 with prior radio communication and permission.
- A Club representative will be on duty daily.
25 February – 7 March 2026
- Full closure of all runways (18/36 and 10/28).
- Aircraft owners should arrange alternative storage or hangar space during this period.
- Members may access their hangars except on filming days (2–4 March 2026, or as otherwise notified). On filming days, access is prohibited.
8 March – 25 March 2026
- Runway 18/36 closed for landing and take-off.
- Taxiing permitted towards Runway 10/28 with prior radio communication and permission.
- A Club representative will be on duty daily.
Club Representative Duty
A Club member will be on duty whenever the film crew or construction team is present.
Members interested in volunteering should contact the Club Secretary. The Committee will allocate duty days at its discretion.
